Christmas Tree nails! I've tried this several times now, and this is the best it's come out. I think it's pretty cute, though. 🙂

First fancy nails I've done in a while. Can't tell because the snowflake one is iridescent, but it actually matches the polish pretty well. 🙂 I'm tired and have a hard day tomorrow, so I'll deal with the edge clean-up later. ❤

1)  It's Friday.

2)  My super-cool BigRuby nail tattoos came in the mail today. 😃

3)  Went to Walgreens, spent a whopping $3.38 and got 2 super-sparkly nail polishes, 120 nail stickers, and bottle of lotion for my purse.  Coupons RULE!

4)  Got a wonderfully-timed reimbursement on a former foster, so with that + the saving I've been doing I've got all the money for Nappy's surgery in hand.  Phew!

Last tape mani I tried.  I think it turned out nice, but I didn't wear it for more than a day.  I might have liked it better in different colors.

I thought this looked pretty cool.

I thought this looked pretty cool.  It's like, no joke, about 10 layers of polish. Base coat, 2 coats of pearly white, SV, glitter, 2 coats of SV, rose crackle, SV, and extra layers of SV over the one's with paws. The paws are not actually made for nails, so they are thick and didn't stick down so great. But I thought it looked nice anyway, for a girly pink mani. 🙂

I ate SO MUCH...

I ate SO MUCH at lunch / dinner (linner? dunch?) today.  Two loaves of Outback bread with honey butter before I even got my real food.  😂  Must be why I'm a slug right now.  I have work to do, but I'm going to sit on my butt, do my nails (haven't in almost a week!), and DIGEST.  Sounds like a plan to me!

I put on my mood polish last night...

I put on my mood polish last night... and it's not really changing color under hot or cold water.  However, it's pink at the cuticle and purple at the tip so it has this cool gradient thing going on.  I really like it anyway!

Shaun got his Alpha Nail polish. The remover has this note after instructions on the bottom:  "*Failure to reapply new coat of Alpha Nail may lead to loss of social dominance and / or mating privileges."  Niiice.  Even better - he has an autographed Alpha Nail poster signed by Roger Huerta... whoever the hell that is.  😃

I did these last night and thought they were straight UGLY at first, but I've had fun looking at them today.  Every time I caught a glimpse of them it tickled me a little.  So, I have deemed them post-worthy.  I really want to do more of the little explosions.  That was hard for me for some reason.

I was not even gonna put these up, but...

I was not even gonna put these up, but Shaun complimented them and told me I should.  (He never compliments my nails!  I usually just get a disinterested "That's cool." - not that I don't understand, since he's a dude.)  LOL  He liked the color, which is a bottom of bright green-y blue (which was wayyy to bright me for me), and a top of very sheer pink-lavender, with a vine thing stamped on top.  I think the color is neat - it reminds me of a mermaid tail.  😃

These are mine tonight... and they actually look a lot better in person. It's feels weird to say it, but they are too shiny! At least, too shiny to be easily photographed. But I do like how the patchwork design came out. I probably should have used a plain black or white for the hearts, but I'll know better next time. I'm still learning!

Ok, I'll probably stop with the nail photos after this unless I happen to do something straight AWESOME. This was my first serious attempt at getting my stamps on nice and neat... apparently, I have issues getting things centered.  Took me a lot longer than I'd like to admit to have these turn out like this. I'm really digging the way these look, though - much more my style than white and lavender. I don't know what I was thinking last time. LOL

This is what made me so happy.  I have a Konad stamping kit that Shaun got me for my birthday. It is SUPER fun.  I can now stamp tiny images on to my nails.  I know that none of this matches each other or go with the colors I have on, but I don't care.  I HAD TO TRY IT OUT!  And sorry my hands look so grody - I was cutting metal before I left work today.

Pardon my scary midget hand.  I found out last night that it is really hard to photograph your own hand with shiny, metallic nail polish on.  😳  While I'm not digging the frilly girly colors this time I do like how they turned out.  I just kind of wish now that I'd skipped the silver in the swirl - not only was it a pain to get off around the edges, but it doesn't go with the white.  I'll have to remember to match my swirl completely next time.  I think I would like it better.  This is the first time I've swirled my own - I tend to like the zig-zaggy look a little better for me.

Home early from the dentist - gonna wash some dogs and scoop the yard.  If I'm a good girl and do all of my chores I might change out this very cool shredded look on my nails to a swirly one!  😉
